Swissraft offers you the opportunity to discover a new generation of aircraft at very affordable prices: ultralight aircraft such as gyrocopter or gyroplane and ultralight aircraft; all this near Basel in Freiburg/Breisgau, Germany. With respect to the gyrocopter, the principle of autorotation sometimes used by the helicopter pilot during an engine failure or to bluff his passengers comes back in force thanks to the new technologies, hence the brilliant idea of designing a device that only flies in autorotation. You had to think about it… AUTOGIRE was born!
Designed to carry up to two people and a few kilograms of luggage, the gyrocopter with a light headwind lifts off for a few tens of meters and lands for a few meters. This machine with a rotor powered only by wind and a 100-horsepower Rotax engine at the rear for propulsion is highly manoeuvrable and reliable.
The composite materials used in the construction of an autogira or ULM aircraft, as well as the simplest mechanics, make these aircraft extremely reliable, low-polluting and among the safest in the world.
With a cruising speed of 130 km/h to 150 km/h depending on the type of aircraft and a range of several hours, ultralight aircraft are sure to be future aircraft that will allow many to discover and practice flying safely.
