Supervised by our guides, you venture into snowy landscapes in search of a place to erect their igloo. You’re ready to face the cold and create your own snow shelter. To begin with, with patience and determination, you set about the task. You compact the snow to form solid blocks. Each block is carefully carved and stacked, following an age-old technique handed down from generation to generation. Hours pass, but no one counts, absorbed by the magic of the moment. Exchanges are warm, punctuated by laughter and jokes, strengthening the bonds between participants.

When the last block is laid, a sense of accomplishment fills the group. They contemplate their creation with pride, a true refuge in the heart of hostile nature. Then night falls slowly, shrouding the mountains in a veil of darkness. Inside the igloo, body warmth and candlelight create a cosy atmosphere conducive to sharing and exchange.
