The Colibri H120 has a maximum flight autonomy of 3 hours 45 minutes, and can operate at altitudes of up to 6,000 meters. This is a single-turbine engine with a cruising speed of 228 km/h. You climb aboard and take your place in the right-hand seat as the helicopter pilot. Your instructor takes the left-hand seat. You start the turbine and the rotor begins to rotate, reaching a speed of 412 rpm. Then you request take-off clearance from the airfield control tower. You’re cleared for takeoff, and you gently move up the general pitch to leave the tarmac.
