When you arrive at Locarno airfield, your instructor will give you a warm welcome. After a brief introduction to helicopter flight, you’ll head for the helicopter on the tarmac. The instructor shows you the essential mechanical parts for safe flying. Once on board, you take the pilot’s seat on the right. The instructor sits on the left and explains each dial on the instrument panel. Contact us!
Clearance for takeoff is given, and the rotor reaches 530 rpm. You activate the general pitch with your left hand, and take off smoothly in a hover. Under the watchful eye of your dual-control instructor, you perform a variety of maneuvers.
