You can feel the wind ruffling your hair at over 200km/h. Your eyes are protected by goggles, which we give you before you jump. You’ve been dreaming of this moment for a long time, and now it’s come true. We welcome you to our dropzone at Triengen airfield. First you receive instruction on how to behave during freefall and landing. You jump out of the plane and feel that inevitable adrenalin rush throughout the freefall. What’s more, during the ascent you have a magnificent view of all the lakes in Central Switzerland. Alternatively, if you’d like to go skydiving on your own, you can do it with us. This is called an AFF jump, and involves a day’s preparation with your instructor. Then you jump with two instructors who accompany you during the freefall and stabilize you. Once your parachute has opened, you continue your descent alone. Of course, you are under the control of an instructor on the ground who guides you to your landing by radio. An exhilarating experience awaits you!

Tandem parachute jump over Lavaux and Glacier 3000 at Bex in the canton of Vaud

It’s a chance to free yourself from the daily grind and explore a new world, that of skydiving.

As soon as you arrive at our dropzone, you’ll be greeted by one of our instructor-pilots. A bond of trust is quickly established with your adventure companion. First of all, you put on the right equipment for your size. Then together you repeat a few movements and positions of the body and head. You’ll then be able to enjoy free-fall without any effort on your part. Then it’s time for the two of you to board the plane. We’re off! The plane takes off for an ascent to 4000 m above ground level. Your pilot’s vast experience has given you confidence and you’re relatively relaxed. During the ascent, you can see the Verbier 3000 glacier and Lake Geneva below you. At an altitude of 4,000 m, the plane’s pilot gives the GO to jump. One last check from your pilot, everything’s OK and you’re both propelling yourselves out of the plane. You’ll fall at over 50 m/s or nearly 200 km/h; extreme sensations for around 50 seconds. It’s time to open the parachute in safety at 1500 m altitude. The sound of the wind fades away, the speed is reduced to silence and a feeling of plenitude. Take a tandem skydive over the Rhone plain in Valais at Sion

Skydiving is a celebration of life and all the incredible experiences it has to offer.

You will be met by an instructor-pilot on arrival at Sion airport. Once you’ve been introduced, he’ll give you a harness that fits you and the equipment you’ll need. Then you rehearse a few movements and body positions with him, especially the head position for freefall. Everything is ready and you’re on your way to the plane. You take your place on board with your pilot-instructor and other tandems, just as eager as you are to experience the great adventure. A joyful atmosphere reigns aboard the plane, a way to relax and avoid being overcome by a little anxiety. Your experienced instructor knows how to calm you down if he or she senses the slightest sign of concern. It’s part of his training to instill confidence in his passenger. As you climb above the Rhone valley, you’ll enjoy the scenery. The aircraft reaches the altitude required for a safe jump. The pilot of the wide-body aircraft gives the GO to jump. You and your instructor approach the release gate. He performs a final check, and together you propel yourselves out of the aircraft. Then, very quickly, everything accelerates: the speed of the freefall reaches 200 km/h, the sound of the wind amplifies and whistles in your ears. Don’t worry, your pilot manages and stabilizes this free-fall masterfully. For you, it’s an exhilarating minute that fills you with joy. All legitimate apprehension has dissipated. You reach an altitude of 1500 m, at which point your pilot opens the parachute. Thanks to its extractor, opening is performed without sudden impact. Your cameraman, if you’ve ordered him to do so, moves away from you at 200 km/h before opening his parachute. Then the descent continues peacefully until a soft landing on our dropzone in Sion.
You want to take the plunge, but you’re still stumped. No problem! You can do a freefall simulator in Sion or in Winterthur near Zurich. The sensations are very similar to real freefall.
