You fly between the 3 lakes region to the south-west, Basel to the north, Zurich to the east and Bern to the south. Relatively flat, we’re on the Swiss plateau, also known as the Middle Country.
The participation of all is required. First you help unload the equipment and spread the balloon out on the ground. The pilot activates the fan to send cold air into the envelope. Then it switches to the burner controls to start heating the air inside the envelope. The ball slowly straightens until it is completely upright. Is everyone on board?
