For your school run, an Easy rafting initiation on an 8 km course on the Reuss river

Between Bremgarten and Gnadental, our young pupils will be taking part in Easy rafting, a gentle version of rafting, as part of their school outing.

During your school outing, you’ll discover Easy rafting on the Reuss. It all starts in Bremgarten, where you’ll be greeted by our guides, who’ll give you clear explanations about safety. Then you equip yourself with a lifejacket and a paddle. Now you’re ready for adventure, and off you go on the rafts. The current is gentle, ideal for beginners.
Along the way, you learn to coordinate your movements and paddle together. From time to time, you cross faster zones, which adds a little challenge. The scenery is splendid and the hills green.
As the descent progresses, you gain confidence and enjoy the experience to the full. After about an hour and a half, you reach your destination, Gnadental. This introduction to Easy rafting is an enriching experience, combining learning, fun and nature.

Easy rafting on the Reuss between Bremgarten and Mellingen; a 20 km descent

Your students will be grateful to you

There’s nothing better for a school run than Easy rafting down the Reuss between Bremgarten and Mellingen. First, you put on a life jacket and pick up a paddle. Then the instructors give you precise safety instructions, which you listen to carefully. Then comes the moment when you board your raft. The current soon takes you on an exciting adventure. You’ll pass through quieter sections of the Reuss, ideal for chatting and enjoying the scenery. From time to time, a few splashes provoke bursts of laughter. At times, the current speeds up, adding a little adrenalin to your adventure. After a good part of the descent, you take a short break on the shore. This allows you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside. Finally, you reach your destination: Mellingen. The day was rich in emotion and strengthened the bonds between us.

Build your own boat as a team!

Building rafts on Lake Lucerne’s 4 Cantons! A gift voucher? What a great idea! In a superb setting, all the ingredients are there to make your school run a success: dreamy landscapes, summer atmosphere, sporting activities… Imagination and know-how on the part of students and teachers are needed to build a boat. Once you’ve finished building, you’ll compete with other teams in a race on the lake, duck hunting, etc., and maybe you and your team will be crowned the day’s winner. We also build rafts on Lake 4 in Weggis, in Ticino on Lake Maggiore in Ascona and Lake Lugano in Figino, in Canton Schwyz on Lake Lauerz in Buchenhof and elsewhere in Switzerland.

For a school outing, rafting on the Rhine in the Swiss Grand Canyon will enthral your pupils.

From Ilanz to Reichenau, the Rhine is a beautiful river. The famous Swiss Grand Canyon is one of Switzerland’s most popular courses.

The school run starts in Ilanz. The students, helmets screwed on, climb into the rafts. The Rhine soon took them with it. They paddle hard, motivated by adventure. Rapids after rapids, water splashing over everyone.
Then the landscape changes. The Swiss Grand Canyon reveals itself, majestic and impressive. The cliffs rise up on either side. The current becomes stronger. The rafts weave between the rocks. The students scream, torn between fear and excitement.
What’s more, the guides give precise instructions. You have to paddle hard to avoid obstacles. Every landing is a challenge. Everyone stays focused. Gradually, the river widens. The waters are calming slightly.
Finally, the students arrive in Reichenau. Delighted, the students applaud their rafting guide. This descent will remain unforgettable. The Swiss Grand Canyon offered a breathtaking spectacle. The adventure ends, but the memories remain.
